This sign is perfect for your family lake home. Its beautiful design and color choices will fit perfectly into any décor, albeit beachy, farmhouse, nautical or rustic woods. It proudly displays your family’s surname and the name and state of your lake.
This 24” wide x 12” tall sign is made of high-quality edge glued pine board. You can choose from 3 color combinations. You will enter the last name you want to display in the Name box and the name of the lake in the Lake Name box, the state in the State box and the 4-digit year in the Established Year box. Be sure to confirm your spelling and choices are 100% correct before you place our order. We will be in touch with you via email throughout the entire order and proofing process to ensure your sign turns out perfectly.
This sign will make a wonderful addition to the family home, or lake cabin. The design of the sign features a stained border (not a frame) of about 1” and the design is the stain color too. It is offset with a light and airy paint color. The classic established date. If you are looking for a gift for friends with a lake home, this is the perfect choice!
This sign will be hand painted and then sealed with an indoor sealer. Do not hang this sign outside where it would be exposed to rain, snow or excessive moisture. Our signs are designed to be displayed indoors, so they can be enjoyed for years to come. Because this is a “wide” sign, we install a picture wire attached to two sturdy D ring hangers on the back of your sign. You can easily hang it with one nail or screw. It also makes the perfect accent just propped up on a shelf, mantle or fireplace hearth.
The Speckled Loon takes great pride in personalized signs. Once your order is placed, we will reach out with updates and confirm all is correct before painting your sign. This takes a little more time, as each sign is made as they are ordered, since each is an individual work of art for our customers. But in the end, your custom sign will be an heirloom you can proudly display for years to come.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for completion of the sign, since there is a proofing process. Order well in advance of when you need it to ensure you have it on time. We carefully wrap and package each sign. Shipping can take a week to 10 days – depending on how far you are from our headquarters in Grand Forks, ND.
Remember, all wood signs created by The Speckled Loon have a rustic vibe. This means, there will be knots and imperfections in the wood and paint in the final product. Also, the colors will vary some from what is displayed on your monitor, as each screen handles color management differently. We do our best to represent the colors as accurately as possible.
